I’ve loved sports all my life. I played baseball, soccer, and football until COVID. After COVID hit, I quit soccer and baseball and went full in on football. Freshman season wasn’t the best, I won’t lie. But I had fun, and then I decided to join track, and I found hurdles. It took over my life, every practice, every day, I was hurdling, trying to get better. I was always less than a quarter second behind my friend, who kept pushing me. So, I kept pushing myself. I started working out every day and staying after practice to keep trying to get better. Then at districts, I PR’ed and finally beat him. And then the off-season came, and I kept practicing every day, rain or shine. Then it was finally spring track and I was so excited to be back, and then at the first practice I felt a pain in my back and I was done I ran one meet that season and probably will be the last meet I ever will run an participate in. it took 9 months for the Docters to finally figure out what was wrong with me and turns out I have spondylolisthesis. But I couldn’t just leave the thing I love most. So, I picked up my dad’s camera, and now we are here.
